Someone has asked me to pay them directly and not through the designerex™ platform, what should I do?

If, on the rare occasion, someone has contacted you to pay or receive money outside the designerex™ site, we advise that you cease communication with that member immediately and report the user to us by contacting support.

Payments and communicating with other members only through the designerex™ platform is vital to making your experience as positive and secure as possible. If your transaction happens offline, we will have no record of it, it is very hard and almost impossible for us to help you. It is also a violation of our Terms to transact offline.

Ensure you always pay and communicate through the designerex™ platform so you can take advantage of trust and safety features such as ID Verification and Reviews after each rental. The continual growth of your profile in the community helps members decide whether to rent or lend with you in the future.
